FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Columbus, GA -Today, with the Georgia Democratic Senate primary heating up, Teresa Tomlinson, candidate for U.S. Senate against David Perdue, launched a new campaign video called “Georgia Gumption.”
The video makes the case that what we need in Washington is more grit, more determination, more gumption in order to take on the dysfunction that is preventing our government from working for the people. Tomlinson notes that she learned about “gumption” from watching her mom, who worked her way out of generational poverty and—with the help of a union job and Teresa’s dad—helped her family enter the middle class. Now Tomlinson sees examples of gumption all across Georgia. Tomlinson vows that—together with the people—she will use this same tenacity, this same Georgia gumption, to take on David Perdue.
In conjunction with the release of the video, Teresa will travel across the state speaking about Georgia Gumption and why we need it to accomplish big things and make government work for the people it serves.
