GEORGIA SENATOR EMANUEL JONES ENDORSES TERESA TOMLINSON FOR U.S. SENATE
“I’ve known Teresa Tomlinson for years, and I’ve seen her public service leadership. She fights when necessary to make government work for those it serves. When I think about the current dysfunction taking place in Washington, D.C., I know that Mayor Tomlinson is the choice to resolve it. I’ll be working to elect Teresa Tomlinson to the U.S. Senate, and I hope you will join me.” – Sen. Emanuel Jones
Senator Emanuel Jones, a Democrat, was first elected to the Georgia Senate from Georgia’s 10th District in 2004. Senator Jones represents Southwest DeKalb and Henry County. He is the current Chairman of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Council and formerly served as Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus for two consecutive legislative sessions.
Tomlinson Endorsement Announcement Process
Throughout the United States Senate Race in Georgia, the Tomlinson Campaign will be releasing endorsements of those insisting on better leadership for Georgians. Each is committed to #TeamTomlinson and will be working to flip not just Georgia, but the US Senate in 2020.
Endorsements will be released on multiple social media platforms and through traditional press release.
